Dario Bonzani

The last member to join the band, he made his debut with The Ides Of March in May 2024. 

Dario has been enchanted by music since he was a child, first orchestral music for its powerful sounds and atmospheres, then the blues, country, rock and pop records found around the house, but without ever finding majestic sounds that truly passionate him.
During his adolescence he was intrigued by names like Metallica, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Helloween, Judas Priest, Queen... here is that epic power combined with modern music!!
The first time I listened to Iron Maiden was with "Somewhere in Time"...  never heard anything like it before and from then on Dario devoured all Maiden albums.

At that point he became passionate about the electric guitar, the great protagonist of all those masterpieces, with furious rhythms and incredible solos.
He never takes guitar lessons, his teachers are Kirk Hammett, Adrian Smith, Marty Friedman, John Petrucci, Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen, Brian May, Andreas Kisser, Michael Romeo... 
The lessons are the countless hours spent listening to and imitating these great guitarists.

Then the first bands, mainly thrash metal, to have fun with covers and trying to create original songs.
Later he became a stable member of the band WYRD, with which he still plays covers of the great metal bands of the 80s and 90s and some unreleased songs.
In recent years he has been a guitarist in the Troopers Of The Beast, an Iron Maiden tribute band, with whom he performs in clubs in Lombardy.
In this period the friendship with Ivan Russo (alias Evan Russel) was born, who in various situations lends his voice to the Troopers for live evenings, even on prestigious stages such as the Phenomenon in Novara.

In 2023 Dario plays at the Castle Rock in Vercurago with The Ides Of March and on that occasion he demonstrates the excellent feeling with the whole band, which will then lead TIOM to choose him as a stable member.

Dario is a regular visitor to the Mega Jam evenings of Rock'n'Roll Pub in Milan, where he can play with many different musicians all the other masterpieces of the great metal bands that have formed his musical passion and (why not) also of the other greats of the rock and pop.
